Coarse Ground 80 Grit -
BS 1449 No 3A
A uniform finish with a coarse texture. Variations on this finish are 60 Grit (extremely coarse texture) and 100 Grit (slightly less coarse in texture).
Dull Polish 180 Grit -
BS 1449 No 4
Unidirectional abrasive texture, not highly reflective. Also popular in 240 Grit finish. Most widely used textured surface finish.
 
240/S BS - BS 1449 No 5
Similar to No 4 Dull Polish but with a much smoother and reflective surface texture, achieved by the use of a silicon carbide abrasive process.
240 Image - BS 1449 No 5
This is a customised surface finish suitable for numerous applications including architecture, food hygiene and medical applications. Smooth and easily cleaned with batch to batch matching.
 
Satin Brush-Scotchbrite -
BS 1449 No 3B
A semi dull smooth surface finish. Produced using a bristle type brush (Scotchbrite). Available as standard (short grain as above) or straight run (long grain).
